Popcorn Days 2008 Parade

So every year, Popcorn Days hosts a parade for the kiddies. They have a theme every year. As you may recall, last year it was Super Heros so we created a firetruck float.

This year the theme was "Celebrations from around the World." I had thought of dressing Elizabeth up as a Chinese dragon, a firework, and even as an athlete from the Olympics, but simply ran out of time (and energy) to create any of those likenesses. So we went with Birthdays.

This was just a moment I captured of Elizabeth playing with her stickers while we were getting her ready for the parade.

All we did was buy some balloons and streamers and decorated her tricycle. She loved it. She got to carry a present and blow some noise makers.


She won 2nd place!

Here is a video of the parade, but the quality is not very good because the moment Elizabeth spotted me in the crowd, she got off her bike and decided she liked my view better.
